Barbering Apprenticeship Training

LEVEL 2 DIPLOMA FOR HAIR PROFESSIONALS – Barbering

This course can only be completed alongside an apprenticeship which is designed to have you salon floor ready upon completion.

This course is split into three elements…

On-programme qualification

During this time, you will learn all the barbering skills required to get you salon ready! This qualification is accredited by VTCT and delivered by experienced barbers and qualified assessors and teachers.

If you do not already hold the mandatory level of English and Maths qualifications, you will be required to work towards and gain these during your apprenticeship to be able to move onto the last 2 elements.

Gateway

After you have completed your on-programme qualification you will have some time to plan and prepare for your EPA (End Point Assessment). During this time, you will also be gaining valuable experience by working on the salon floor as a barber.

EPA (End Point Assessment)

This is a one-day event during which an outside End Point Assessor will assess your skills on a predetermined set of services. To have a successful outcome from this apprenticeship you must complete and pass all three elements.
