Stuart is the director of Achievement Training and skills and has over 40 years of experience in the hairdressing industry. Beginning as an apprentice hairdresser himself, Stuart has worked his way up over the years, gaining a wealth of experience and knowledge, leading him to where he is today. Stuart is passionate about apprenticeship training as it allows budding hairdressers, barbers and beauty therapists to learn in a hands on, customer facing environment, working alongside experienced colleagues who they can watch and learn valuable skills from.
Marc has worked his way through the ranks in private training academies as well as FE colleges. His career started in the beauty industry which lead naturally to him privately training in hairdressing himself. Nearly twenty years in the hair and beauty industry Marc believes if you don’t have a passion for the industry then it is not the career path for you. Marc is passionate about the hair and beauty industry and believes the ethos behind Achievement Training and Skills. He is a natural hands on trainer and is at his best in the academy with his students or on stage at industry events ,his passion drives him to create the best possible experience for the students and employers alike which is why he has joined Achievement Training and Skills.
Office Manager Evie’s career started in 2014 when she joined our sister company and completed her Apprenticeship, earning an NVQ qualification in Business and Administration. Evie then developed her skills further gaining first-hand industry experience whilst achieving her NVQ level 3 in Business and Administration. Evie has a wide range of experience and knowledge and is currently working towards gaining her Level 3 Assessors qualification.
Amber has been our Head of Quality since 2017, alongside this she also works as a self-employed hairdresser and barber ever since she qualified and gained her NVQ Level 1 & 2 in Hairdressing in 2000 with our sister company. Amber later went on to gain her Level 3 NVQ in hairdressing in 2011 and has a number of other qualifications alongside this such as; Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector, A1 Assessors Award and many more. Amber has also completed a number of Wella qualifications.
Samantha started her hairdressing journey as a Saturday girl in a salon aged 15, she then started her apprenticeship in Hairdressing in 2004 with our sister company and has since worked her way up from Stylist to Manager to Assessor all the way up to her current role today. Samantha has a range of experience and qualifications such as an NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing, A1 Assessors Award, Preparing to teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector and an Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.
In 2011 Claire began her hairdressing career and embarked upon her Hairdressing apprenticeship with our sister company, in 2013 Claire completed her apprenticeship, gaining both Level 2 and Level 3 NVQ in hairdressing. After this Claire went on to work as a self-employed hairdresser before becoming a Training and Skills Teacher and Assessor for Achievement Training and Skills in 2015.
Emma’s role is to co-ordinate the Functional Skills delivery, ensuring all apprentices complete the relevant Functional Skills level required. Emma’s career started in 2002 when she graduated from university with a Law Degree. In 2005 Emma went on to complete a Masters Degree in Adoption Law. In 2011, after gaining some experience in the Industry Emma earned her Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector Level 4 qualification and later went on to complete Dyslexia Awareness Training in 2013.
Jade is in charge of producing all things creative and IT. She joined our team in 2019 after gaining a Foundation Diploma in Art, Design and Media. Jade’s background is videography and has over 4 years of experience filming and editing videos and managing cross-media campaigns. Over the years Jade has gained a wide range of skills including blogging, website development, copy writing, and managing social media platforms, which she learnt whilst working on a number of different projects within the industry.
